Forthcoming Symposium [UPDATE]: Twenty-First Century Litigation: Pathologies and Possibilities A Symposium in Honor of Stephen Yeazell

We are now accepting RSVPs to the 2013 UCLA Law Review Symposium, "Twenty-First Century Litigation: Pathologies and Possibilities, A Symposium in Honor of Professor Stephen Yeazell." The Symposium will be held on Thursday, January 24, and Friday, January 25, 2013 at UCLA School of Law.

This year’s topic will explore the state of modern civil litigation, and how the substantive areas of both Civil Procedure and Evidence interact to shape the litigation process. While these two areas may seem like an odd coupling, this symposium posits that, inherent in both, lies the inextricable connection between procedure and substance. Thus, both topics will be explored individually, as well as in connection with each other. At the same time, we will celebrate the scholarship and influence of David G. Price and Dallas P. Price Distinguished Professor of Law, Stephen C. Yeazell. As always, the symposium is free and open to all students, faculty, and the community at large. RSVPs are requested.
